Senior Chemical Process Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of new chemical processes, from laboratory scale through to pilot and commercial scale-up.
• Design and execute experimental programs to validate process parameters, assess feasibility, and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct techno-economic evaluations and feasibility studies for new process concepts.
• Utilize process modelling and simulation tools to predict process performance and identify optimal operating conditions.
• Collaborate closely with research scientists, engineers, and project managers in a virtual environment to advance development projects.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, research reports, and patent disclosures.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in process development, R&D, or scale-up within the chemical industry.
• Proven expertise in designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and drawing sound conclusions.
• Strong understanding of reaction engineering, separations, and process intensification.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at remote collaboration.
