Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of novel chemical processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Perform advanced process simulations, modeling, and economic evaluations for new and existing technologies.
• Develop detailed Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications.
• Conduct rigorous process safety analyses (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA) and ensure all designs meet stringent safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate effectively with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams across different locations.
• Provide expert technical guidance, mentorship, and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in chemical process design, development, and scale-up.
• Proven expertise in advanced process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD) and CFD modelling .
• Deep understanding of reaction engineering, separation processes, and process control strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills are essential for remote collaboration.
