Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of sustainable chemical processes, focusing on waste minimization and energy efficiency.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and feedstocks to improve the environmental performance of operations.
- Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) and environmental impact analyses for new and existing processes.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and EHS teams to embed sustainability principles across projects.
- Develop business cases and proposals for sustainability-focused process improvements.
- Monitor and report on key environmental performance indicators related to chemical processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization or strong focus on environmental engineering or sustainability.
- 7+ years of experience in chemical process engineering, with significant exposure to green chemistry and sustainable manufacturing practices.
- Proven track record in implementing process improvements with tangible environmental benefits.
- Experience with LCA software and environmental regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Passion for sustainability and driving positive environmental change.
