Senior Civil Design Engineer (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed civil engineering design for infrastructure projects, including drainage, highways, and site development, remotely.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and supporting design documentation using CAD and other relevant software.
• Conduct site feasibility studies and site investigations, potentially requiring travel to project locations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders through virtual communication channels.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant UK building regulations, standards, and environmental legislation.
• Manage project tasks and timelines effectively to ensure timely and accurate design delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering design, with a strong portfolio of delivered projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D , AutoCAD, and relevant drainage design software (e.g., MicroDrainage).
• Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Willingness to travel to project sites for occasional essential meetings or surveys.
