Senior Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their established team in Milton Keynes . You will play a crucial role in translating conceptual ideas into detailed engineering plans, ensuring all designs meet stringent quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for infrastructure projects including roads, drainage systems, and site development.
• Utilize CAD software to produce accurate engineering drawings, plans, and sections.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to inform design development.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant UK building regulations, standards, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and approve technical documentation and calculations prepared by engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of drainage design, road design, and S278/S38 agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and client interaction.
