Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their well-respected team in Oxford . You will be responsible for leading the design process, ensuring technical integrity, and collaborating closely with clients and project teams to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities

Lead the conceptual and detailed design of civil engineering infrastructure, including roads, drainage, and earthworks.
Prepare comprehensive design drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
Ensure designs comply with relevant UK standards, codes of practice, and client requirements.
Collaborate with architects, other engineering disciplines, and external stakeholders to integrate designs.
Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to inform design development and resolve issues.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering design.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is preferred.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D , MicroStation , and drainage analysis tools.
Strong understanding of site development principles, SUDs (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems), and planning regulations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
