About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead key projects within a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and detailed engineering of major civil infrastructure projects.
- Perform advanced engineering calculations and analysis for site development, drainage, highways, and utilities.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports for complex projects.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Oversee project design compliance with all relevant national standards and regulations.
- Engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies through virtual communication platforms.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with MICE or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design , with a focus on infrastructure.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects from inception to completion.
- Expertise in civil design software packages, including BIM and advanced analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and risk assessment methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills essential for remote collaboration.
