Senior Civil Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design of civil engineering infrastructure, including site layout, earthworks, roads, and drainage.
• Prepare comprehensive design drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Ensure designs meet all relevant building regulations, standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other consultants to ensure seamless project integration.
• Review and approve designs produced by junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in civil design engineering.
• Proven experience in site development, including roads, drainage, and utility design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage or similar software.
• Strong understanding of UK planning policies and construction practices.
