Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning of complex civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and site development.
• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project viability and identify potential challenges.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation using industry-standard software.
• Oversee project execution, manage construction activities, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and communication.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support their professional development and project contributions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of UK building codes, planning regulations, and environmental considerations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or eligibility for professional membership is highly desirable.
