Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications, drawings, and project reports for regulatory approval and client submission.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project planning and execution.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery within scope and quality expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, statutory bodies, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, coupled with significant post-graduate experience.
• Professional qualification such as MIStructE or MICE is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale civil engineering infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in civil design software , such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and environmental standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
