About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Civil Engineer to join their esteemed infrastructure team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and management of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, and land development.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and produce detailed technical reports and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, industry standards, and health and safety legislation.
- Prepare tender documents, specifications, and contract administration for projects.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional development.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with professional accreditation (e.g., MICE).
- A minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
- Proven track record in delivering complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and PDS.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
