Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and management of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, and land development.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and produce detailed technical reports and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, industry standards, and health and safety legislation.
• Prepare tender documents, specifications, and contract administration for projects.
• Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional development.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with professional accreditation (e.g., MICE).
• A minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
• Proven track record in delivering complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and PDS.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
