Senior Civil Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an accomplished Senior Civil Engineer to join their fully remote, highly collaborative engineering team. This role offers the unique advantage of contributing to significant infrastructure and development projects across the UK from a remote location. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design and development for a portfolio of civil infrastructure projects, including transportation, utilities, and land regeneration.
• Conduct thorough technical feasibility studies and site assessments using remote data analysis techniques.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and comprehensive project reports.
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders via advanced virtual communication and collaboration tools.
• Provide expert technical guidance and oversight to ensure projects meet all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff through remote coaching and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent accredited qualification.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Demonstrated expertise in industry-leading civil engineering software packages (e.g., Bentley, Autodesk suite).
• Proven track record of successfully managing technical project deliverables in a remote work environment.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and virtual communication skills.
