Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of complex structural systems for a variety of projects, including buildings, bridges, and infrastructure.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant software and adhering to industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough site investigations and feasibility studies, providing expert technical advice and solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders in a remote setting to ensure project success.
• Perform quality control checks and review work produced by other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor and guide junior civil engineers, fostering their technical development and professional career paths.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in civil engineering , with a strong focus on structural design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000) and CAD tools.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, Eurocodes, and relevant design standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
• Professional Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it is highly desirable.
