Senior Civil Engineer - Transportation Planning

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer specializing in transportation planning and infrastructure design to join their consultancy in Bradford . You will lead complex projects, including highway design, traffic modelling, and public transport infrastructure, working with a diverse range of clients. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, junctions, and public realm schemes.
• Develop and review transport assessments, traffic impact studies, and travel plans.
• Utilize traffic modelling software (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA) to analyse traffic flow and impacts.
• Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and contract documents for transportation projects.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project completion.
• Mentor and guide a team of transportation engineers and technicians.
• Engage with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to build strong working relationships.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
