Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of water resource management projects, including flood defense, water supply schemes, and river restoration.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses to assess water-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, environmental statements, and design documentation.
• Manage project teams, budgets, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide expert advice on water policy, legislation, and best practices in water resource engineering.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering , Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional qualification as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in water resources engineering and project management.
• Expertise in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, EPANET).
• Strong understanding of UK and European water legislation and policy.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
