About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves leading and contributing to a variety of challenging civil engineering projects, from initial design through to completion. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and land development.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project planning.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents using CAD software and other relevant tools.
- Oversee project execution, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Civil Engineer , with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Systems) and project management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and relevant engineering standards in the UK.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent chartered status is highly desirable.
