Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and land development.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project planning.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents using CAD software and other relevant tools.
• Oversee project execution, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Senior Civil Engineer , with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Systems) and project management tools.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and relevant engineering standards in the UK.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent chartered status is highly desirable.
