About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, drainage, and structural elements.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform project planning.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents using industry-standard software.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery within scope.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and smooth project progression.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the project team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Civil Engineer , with a significant portion in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage).
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and environmental legislation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Professional accreditation, such as MICE or MIStructE, is highly advantageous.
