Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and management of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and land development.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project strategies.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents using industry-standard software.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of at least 7 years in civil engineering, with significant experience in project leadership.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of UK building codes, planning regulations, and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.
