Senior Civil Engineer

Our client, a dynamic engineering consultancy based in Wolverhampton , is seeking a motivated Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to their expanding portfolio of infrastructure and development projects. Key Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed design of civil engineering elements, including roads, drainage, earthworks, and utility infrastructure.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports in accordance with project requirements and standards.
• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to inform design development.
• Assist in the management of project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and contractors to ensure effective project communication and coordination.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and drainage design software.
• Good knowledge of UK building codes, planning policies, and highway standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and in the office.
