Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, and structural elements.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project viability and technical challenges.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, drawings, and contract documents for tender and construction.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively, reporting progress to stakeholders regularly.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Civil Engineer , with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of UK building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Membership in a professional engineering body (e.g., ICE) is advantageous.
