Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and management of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, drainage, and transportation schemes.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to ensure project viability and safety.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and contract documents.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and other disciplines to ensure project success.
• Oversee construction phases, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a civil engineering role, with proven project leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and drainage design packages.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
