About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly capable Senior Civil Project Engineer to join their dynamic team in Derby, Derbyshire . This role is crucial for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest engineering standards. This on-site position requires strong leadership and technical expertise to manage projects effectively in the Derby area.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical aspects of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure all project designs and construction activities comply with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
• Oversee site operations, including quality control, progress monitoring, and safety management.
• Prepare project documentation, including plans, reports, and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, providing timely solutions to technical challenges.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in civil engineering project management and execution.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and contract administration.
