Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Claims Adjuster to join their dynamic team in Leicester . Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and settle complex insurance claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing claimants and witnesses, and assessing damages.
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties, aiming for fair and timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim files, documenting all communications and decisions.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior claims handlers within the team.
- Liaise with legal counsel, repairers, and other external parties as necessary during the claims process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster , with a strong track record in handling diverse insurance claims.
- In-depth understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in insurance claims handling are highly desirable.
