Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate the settlement of complex insurance claims, including liability and damages assessment.

- Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and legal representatives to gather information and explain claim status.
- Document all claim activities, findings, and decisions accurately in the claims management system.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior adjusters, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate cases as appropriate for further investigation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster , with a significant portion dealing with complex claims.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, relevant legislation, and claims handling best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret policy wordings and assess liability.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in insurance or claims handling are highly desirable.
