Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, assess, and settle complex insurance claims across various lines of business.
• Manage a caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, third-party representatives, and internal stakeholders throughout the claims process.
• Identify potential fraud or subrogation opportunities and take appropriate action.
• Mentor and support junior claims handlers, providing guidance and sharing best practices.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files and documentation within the claims management system.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Claims Handler or in a similar insurance claims role.
• In-depth understanding of insurance policies, claims handling procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using claims management software and other relevant IT systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
• Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in insurance (e.g., ACII) are highly desirable.
