Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of assigned insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement, ensuring all processes are followed diligently.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with policyholders, providing updates and explaining claim procedures clearly.
• Gather and verify all necessary documentation and evidence to support claim assessments accurately.
• Liaise with loss adjusters, assessors, and other third parties to facilitate the investigation and resolution of claims.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims and escalate them according to established protocols for further investigation.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all claim activities and decisions in the company's claims management system.

Requirements

• Proven experience in claims handling within the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of policy wordings and claims principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
