Senior Clinical Research Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their dynamic pharmaceutical team based in the Aberdeen area. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and compliant execution of clinical trials, contributing directly to the development of life-saving medications. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage assigned clinical trial sites, ensuring adherence to protocol, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site initiation visits, interim monitoring visits, and site termination visits.
• Monitor patient safety, data accuracy, and regulatory compliance at investigational sites.
• Train and support site staff on study procedures, data collection, and regulatory expectations.
• Prepare and present monitoring visit reports, and collaborate with site personnel to resolve identified issues.
• Ensure timely collection and review of essential documents and source data verification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP ), ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to conduct site monitoring activities, including initiation, routine, and close-out visits.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with electronic data capture (EDC ) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS ).
