Senior Cloud Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of their cloud strategy, working as part of a fully remote team. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across major platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise who can guide technical direction and mentor engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Develop cloud strategy and roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet project and product requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams on cloud best practices.
• Define and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and architect resilient solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud platforms.
• Proven experience architecting solutions on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, networking, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and automation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
