About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of their cloud strategy, working entirely remotely. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across various platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-level cloud architecture solutions on platforms such as AWS , Azure, or GCP.
- Define cloud governance, security standards, and best practices to ensure a compliant and secure environment.
- Lead the migration of existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to the cloud.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture documentation and roadmaps.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
- Strong understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud security principles, networking, and data management.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
