Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a specialization in AWS to join their fully remote engineering team. This role is pivotal in architecting, implementing, and managing our client's cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our cloud-based systems, driving best practices in cloud operations and automation. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient infrastructure on AWS .
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for AWS services.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance requirements are met within the AWS environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering , with a deep specialization in AWS services.
• Proven experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with CI/CD tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
