About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their fully remote team, supporting operations across the Bristol region. This integral role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud-based network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, scalability, and security for our client's digital services. You will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies to build and maintain robust, high-performance networks that support our global operations. Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure network architectures on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement and maintain cloud networking services, including VPCs/VNets, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Automate network provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance and network efficiency.
- Develop and enforce network security best practices within the cloud environment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in network engineering , with a strong specialization in cloud networking .
- Deep expertise in designing and managing networks on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with cloud networking services, security groups, VPNs, and direct connect solutions.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, load balancing, and DNS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote , collaborative environment.
