About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and technically adept Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their growing team in Plymouth . You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions that meet complex business requirements and drive digital transformation. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs, translate them into architectural designs, and guide the implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments. You will leverage your deep expertise in cloud technologies to architect resilient systems and contribute to the company's long-term technology vision, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical architectures.
• Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for cloud adoption and optimization.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams during implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet business needs.
• Ensure solutions comply with security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and database services.
• Experience with containerization, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
