About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their forward-thinking organization, working entirely remotely . This strategic role involves designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective cloud architectures, primarily leveraging platforms like AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with extensive experience in cloud technologies and a passion for innovation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop migration strategies and roadmaps for moving existing on-premises workloads to the cloud.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and operation of cloud architectures.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to meet business objectives.
- Create comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and best practice guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and their services (compute, storage, networking, databases, security).
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills for a remote role.
