About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their innovative technology department in Edinburgh . You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to define cloud strategy, drive adoption of cloud services, and ensure optimal architecture design. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS , Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure best practices, security standards, and governance policies.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and automate cloud deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies and migration strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance capabilities and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or similar senior technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS , Azure, GCP) and their services.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps principles.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
