About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their established, fully remote team. This critical role will involve designing, implementing, and overseeing complex cloud infrastructure solutions that support their global operations. You will be instrumental in defining cloud strategy, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency across all cloud deployments. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to architect transformative solutions that drive innovation and operational excellence, contributing to a culture that values autonomy and impactful technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security standards, and cost optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications in cloud environments.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance existing systems and drive innovation.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, networking, and compliance frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation technologies.
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, particularly in a remote setting.
