Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer for a fully remote position. This role is central to supporting a wide array of commercial operations by drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex contractual agreements. You will work autonomously, collaborating virtually with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure all contractual arrangements align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service level agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice on contractual interpretation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and efficiency for all agreements.
• Collaborate closely with business development, sales, procurement, and operations teams to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions.
• Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations impacting commercial contracting and advise the business accordingly.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.

Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial contract law .
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex, high-value commercial agreements.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload in a remote-first environment.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and risk mitigation strategies.
