Job Description
Conrad Consulting is recruiting an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to support a major infrastructure programme in Milton Keynes.
The role will focus on cost verification and auditing subcontractor costs across a major supply chain, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional with a strong rail and audit background.
The Role
You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying subcontractor costs, providing commercial assurance and challenging cost information where required.
Key responsibilities will include:
Reviewing subcontractor costs and commercial submissions.
Undertaking cost verification and audit activity.
Providing robust commercial assurance.
Identifying discrepancies and challenging costs where appropriate.
Supporting commercial reporting and governance.
Working with project and supply chain stakeholders.
Applying NEC contractual knowledge to commercial assessments.
About You
You should be able to demonstrate:
Significant commercial management experience.
Previous rail infrastructure experience.
Strong cost audit / cost verification experience.
Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts.
Experience reviewing subcontractor costs.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
The confidence to challenge commercial information constructively.
Candidates will be required to undertake a client interview and approval process before appointment
