About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Communications Executive to join their team in Oxford . This role is instrumental in developing and executing effective communication strategies that enhance brand reputation and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with leadership to craft compelling narratives, manage media relations, and oversee the creation of high-impact communication materials. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication and PR strategies for key initiatives.
• Manage media relations, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and building journalist relationships.
• Create and edit engaging content such as press releases, blog posts, speeches, and internal memos.
• Oversee social media strategy and execution to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Monitor communication landscape and provide strategic advice on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Support crisis communication planning and response efforts.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in a communications, public relations, or media relations role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic communication campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of media relations, social media, and digital communications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
