About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Computational Biologist to join their esteemed research group in Cambridge . You will lead sophisticated analyses of complex biological data, including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics, to drive scientific discovery. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced computational methods for the analysis of large-scale biological datasets.

- Collaborate closely with experimental biologists to interpret results and generate hypotheses.
- Contribute to the development of novel algorithms and statistical models for biological research.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the strategic direction of computational biology efforts in Cambridge .
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in analysing diverse biological data types, particularly genomics and transcriptomics.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, and experience with workflow management systems.
- Deep understanding of statistical methods, machine learning, and biological databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in a hybrid working environment.
