Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex biological datasets, including genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data.
• Develop and implement computational models and algorithms to understand biological pathways and disease mechanisms.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists to design studies and interpret findings.
• Visualize and present data effectively to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Contribute to the development of research strategies and the acquisition of new data.
• Ensure the integrity and reproducibility of computational analyses.

Requirements

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in computational biology or bioinformatics research.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, and experience with relevant bioinformatics tools and databases.
• Expertise in analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
• Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques applied to biological data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
