Senior Computer Vision Engineer (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join their pioneering, fully remote team. You will be at the forefront of developing advanced computer vision systems that analyze and interpret visual data for a variety of applications, from autonomous systems to medical imaging. This role demands a deep understanding of image processing, machine learning, and deep learning applied to visual recognition tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and models.
• Work with large-scale image and video datasets for training and testing vision systems.
• Develop and optimize deep learning models for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, and recognition.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate computer vision capabilities into larger applications and platforms.
• Conduct research into new computer vision techniques and technologies to enhance existing systems and explore new product opportunities.
• Perform rigorous testing and validation of vision systems to ensure performance, accuracy, and reliability.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in computer vision.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing computer vision systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C++, along with experience in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Expertise in areas such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) , image segmentation, and feature extraction.
• Familiarity with image processing libraries like OpenCV.
• Experience with handling and processing large image/video datasets.
