About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join their innovative team based in Leeds . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art computer vision systems that power next-generation applications. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize algorithms for image processing , feature extraction, and pattern recognition.
- Implement and train deep learning models for tasks like object detection, segmentation, and classification.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate model performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Integrate computer vision solutions into existing software systems and hardware platforms.
- Collaborate with software engineers to deploy and scale computer vision models in production environments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision research and techniques.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Computer Vision.
- 5+ years of professional experience in developing and deploying computer vision systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in relevant libraries (OpenCV, scikit-image).
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience with model optimization, deployment, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of image formation, 3D vision, and machine learning principles.
