Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join their innovative R&D team in Glasgow . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and pipelines.
- Utilize deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for tasks such as object detection, image segmentation, and facial recognition.
- Process and analyze large image and video datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate vision systems into real-world applications.
- Optimize algorithms for real-time performance on embedded systems or cloud platforms.
- Conduct research into new computer vision techniques and technologies, and evaluate their potential application.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Computer Vision.
- 5+ years of professional experience in computer vision development.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with extensive experience using relevant libraries (OpenCV, scikit-image).
- Deep understanding of deep learning architectures and frameworks for computer vision tasks.
- Experience with image acquisition, processing, and analysis techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with excellent problem-solving skills.
