About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Senior Concept Artist to join their dynamic, fully remote team. You will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of new and exciting projects, creating compelling artwork that defines the aesthetic and mood of our clients' innovative productions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality concept art, including character designs, environment concepts, and prop designs, adhering to project briefs.
- Collaborate closely with art directors, game designers, and other stakeholders to iterate on visual ideas and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Produce detailed sketches, mood boards, and final render illustrations that communicate artistic intent effectively.
- Research and present visual references, trends, and inspiration to inform creative decisions and maintain artistic integrity.
- Mentor junior artists and provide constructive feedback to foster artistic growth within the remote team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concept Artist in the gaming, film, or animation industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques.
- Expertise in digital painting software such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of art fundamentals, including anatomy, perspective, composition, color theory, and lighting.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate artistic concepts clearly.
