Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality concept art, including character designs, environmental concepts, and prop illustrations, that align with project art direction.
• Collaborate with the art director and production team to define the visual style and mood for new projects.
• Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and polished illustrations to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior concept artists, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
• Research visual trends, historical references, and relevant subject matter to inform and inspire artwork.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from directors and stakeholders, ensuring artistic goals are met.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Concept Artist in the games, film, or animation industry.
• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional skills in drawing, painting, composition, and storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and digital painting techniques.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, perspective, colour theory, and light.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in mentoring junior artists or leading small teams is a plus.
