Senior Construction Engineer - Infrastructure

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Construction Engineer to join their team, focusing on major infrastructure projects in Belfast and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance and supervision for large-scale infrastructure projects .
• Ensure all construction activities comply with engineering design specifications, relevant standards, and regulations.
• Oversee quality control and assurance processes, conducting site inspections and material testing.
• Manage and coordinate engineering teams and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious environment.
• Review and approve technical submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering problems that arise during construction.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience as a Construction Engineer , with a significant focus on infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, utilities).
• Chartered Engineer status (e.g., MICE, MIStructE) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and project management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
