Senior Construction Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Construction Manager to lead major construction projects from inception to completion. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise to oversee projects across the UK, including significant developments in the Derby region, without needing to be on-site daily. You will be responsible for overarching project strategy, financial oversight, team leadership, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex construction endeavors. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, a deep understanding of construction methodologies, and a proven ability to manage large-scale budgets and diverse teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple large-scale construction projects from planning through to final handover.
• Develop and implement strategic project plans, budgets, and resource allocation models.
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Oversee risk management, quality assurance, and health and safety compliance across all projects.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships, including clients, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Construction Management , with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction law, contracts, and project finance .
• Proficiency in project management software and remote collaboration tools.
• Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience managing remote teams.
