About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Construction Manager to lead a major development project in Nottingham . This pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of overseeing all aspects of site operations, from planning and execution to budget control and stakeholder management. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of construction processes, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven history of successfully managing large-scale commercial and residential builds, contributing significantly to the company's growth in the East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive construction plans, schedules, and budgets for large-scale projects.
• Oversee and direct all site activities, including managing subcontractors, labor, and material procurement.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the site.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Manage the financial performance of projects, including cost control and contract administration.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in construction management, with a strong background in overseeing large, complex projects.
