About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Construction Project Manager to lead and shape major construction initiatives in and around Portsmouth . This strategic role involves overseeing project lifecycles from inception to completion, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, quality, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of large-scale construction projects .
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including risk management strategies.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in construction project management , with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, building codes, and health and safety legislation .
• Proficiency with industry-standard project management software .
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Membership in a professional body like RICS or CIOB is advantageous.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
