Are you an experienced CDM & Health & Safety Consultant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Senior CDM & Health & Safety Consultant to join their growing Leeds team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across the real estate and built environment sectors, providing expert CDM and Health & Safety advice to a wide range of clients.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering CDM and Health & Safety consultancy services, supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry best practice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll build strong client relationships, lead projects, and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy's Health & Safety offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver CDM and Health & Safety consultancy services across multiple projects.
- Undertake the Principal Designer role in accordance with the CDM Regulations.
- Provide expert advice to clients on their statutory duties and Health & Safety responsibilities.
- Produce and review Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety Files.
- Carry out Health & Safety audits, inspections and performance reviews.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding client service.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance service delivery.
About You
You’ll be a confident and proactive Health & Safety professional with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
You’ll ideally have:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
- GradIOSH (or equivalent professional membership).
- Membership of the Association for Project Safety (APS).
- Previous experience acting as a Principal Designer.
- Strong working knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015.
- Significant experience within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
